[ale] proftpd setup

Hi folks,
    I'm trying to set up a Linux Mandrake box that will provide these
services:
-web server
-ftp server
-appleshare IP server

I'd include Samba, but from what I've read there are some security issues
I'm not so sure I want to deal with.  In any event, I'm trying to figure out
how to set up ProFTPd to these parameters:  no anonymous access, and each
user is restricted to his/her own directory.  I've been reading the docs,
but none of it has sunk in yet.  Can anybody point me in the right
direction?
