CDs?  Who needs CDs?  You can create a (1) bootdisk and (1) network modules FLOPPY disks for SuSE and install it over the net.  Ok, so it takes about 3 hrs for a KDE2 install using ADSL.  I'm sure you can do the same with Debian, and possibly RedHat/Mandrake too.
