The gnome-media package contains several things for multimedia play. If
you are hving problems installing grecord, try using:
rpm -Uvh grecord*.rpm to upgrade packages. Usinn rpm -ivh will try to do
a new install. If a package contains a file already installed, the
install will fail.
Xmms will play .wav files. As will ecasound and Realplayer v.7.
