[ale] OT: Office lighting

This goes back to my earlier post about color temperature. Since I used to
dabble in photography, I'm really aware of the color temperature of lighting.
Aside from the fluorescent flicker, there is the sickly green color. It has a
subtle, but noticeable, psychological effect on people. Most of us here, have
worked in the "veal fattening pens" known as "cubes". Who wouldn't rather
have a cube next to the window as opposed to sitting under lights that remind
you of some kind of institution? This is the reason I always avoid
fluorescents.
