Every industrialized nation has some form of taxation. It's much worse
across the waters (at least in most of Western Europe) where socialistic
governments truly rob their citizens of their income in order to create
social services that act more like a crutch for lazy nationals and
opportunistic refugees. At least here, if you know your tax laws and know
how to make investments based upon tax implications, you can receive a
phatty check from uncle sam.

I would be very interested in how you come to the conclusion that someone
who
takes advantage of the tax laws to keep as much of their life and property
(time/labor=LIFE), is a 'slimeball'.

Personally, I view the income tax as nothing less than extortion (aka,
theft
at gunpoint), and applaud anyone and everyone who gives it the finger,
whether
overtly or covertly.
