[ale] mail flood of delayed messages

When I left the office 4 hours ago, I was caught up on my email. When I
get back, ale shows 68 messages, my inbox had 32 others. Some are dated
as far back as March 28. Those were some mail script tests I was running
so the date is valid. 30+ messages on ale dated April 1. I thought the
maximum delivery time was 5 days. 

I guess the FBI mail scanner is clogging :)
