[ale] dumb apache/memory question

MySQL lives on a separate server with lots of memory and no lag
problems, and talking to it is very, very fast.  The only thing that
would slow it down is the encryption via stunnel, which doesn't seem to
be making too much of a dent. Thanks tho.
