[ale] Joystick Under Linux

Greetings fellow alers, I have a question. On my RedHat 7.1 machine, stock
everything, I can't seem to get my joystick kernel modules to load
automatically. Nothing I do seem to work. I've had success with setting up
my scanner, video card, sound card, and tv/radio cards to load automatically,
but nothing for the joysticks. If I load the joystick modules manually
everything works just fine, I just don't want to have to load the modules
everytime I need to use zsnes. I scoured the net but I've only found info on
how to do what I am doing already and that as we know doesn't work. I've
attached my modules.conf file for any comments, suggestions:
