[ale] Ramdisk Error on RH 7.1 Install

Yes. The Redhat 7.1 gcc is broken. You're going to have to move back to
a previous rev. I would recommend that you just download and install the
appropriate rpms from 7.0 and install them. The Redhat guys released, as
I understand the situation, a gcc that was only a development release.
