All of a sudden I am having problems with my ssh
client on my home linux box.
I try to ssh into computers at work and it gets stuck.

SSH Version 1.2.30 [i586-unknown-linux], protocol version 1.5.
Standard version. Does not use RSAREF.
tamarind.mindspring.com: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config
tamarind.mindspring.com: ssh_connect: getuid 101 geteuid 0 anon 0
tamarind.mindspring.com: Connecting to theor [130.207.35.215] port 22.
tamarind.mindspring.com: Allocated local port 1023.

(and then it hangs)

On the other end I get this from the syslog:

Mar 21 22:25:24 theor sshd[28370]: log: Connection from 216.175.82.220 port 1023
Mar 21 22:26:40 theor sshd[28370]: fatal: Did not receive ident string.

I can ssh into the server from all the other machines at work.
I can ssh from my home computer to itself.
This problem just started up seemingly randomly and I have not knowingly
made any changes.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Marc
