[ale] realplayer on linux

i used the version 8 .bin
it seems to be working fine.  
i've been having an increasingly hard time with rpm's
what are they doing to the format.
it used to work so well

This version won't expire and plays all the RM,RAM,RA, etc. content out there.  It's much more stable than its windows counterpart and can be set to take up less desktop real estate than the windows version.  Of course, if one's been using OSS and GPL'd s/w for some time then that's not really a surprise.
