[ale] string escaping?

Silly question, but what language/shell are you trying to do this in?

Does anyone know how I can echo the following to the screen:

It may sound simple, however, I've tried doing it yet I can't.  I've tried
escaping the quotes/doublequotes in various ways unsuccessfully.   It keeps
interpreting them as a comman to run...
