[ale] Large floppy format capacities.

The /usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt tells you the 
major and minor of the various floppy devices.  You should
be able to make one for the correspond formats.

I don't think you can do 1920 consistently, but the 1680
superformat is stable and widely used.
