[ale] Redhat install help!

It must be. I have the same drive and have RH 7.0 working just fine. I
have Win2k on the first partition(10 gig), a beta OS on the second
partition(10 gig), and RH7.0 on the third partition(10 gig). I use lilo to
boot between all the OSes without any problems.

One thing to note is the cabling. I have heard that anything above ATA33
UDMA-3 requires a 80 pin IDE cable. My mobo came with one so I don't know
if this make any difference. My mobo also supports ATA100 UDMA-5. This
might be another reason why mine works. Just an FYI, my mobo is a ASUS
CUSL2.

I've been told that only RH 7.0 supports ATA100.

Good luck,
John
