[ale] PAM/LDAP

I've got an LDAP server set up and running. I have a linux box next
to it for my first test case. I need to have my linux box poke the
LDAP for authentication. I'm guessing I need to use libpam-ldap for
this. I've installed that, but the configuration is a bit vague. Anyone
have a quick HOWTO so I can get started and expand from there?

Thanks,
  Robert
