AFAIK, 4.78 is the last of the old netscape tree unless they release any
other bug fixes. Mozilla was originally going to use that code base and
would be branched off by Netscape at some point to become Netscape 5.0,
but because the code base was to messy to work with, they chose to
rewrite it and created the gecko rendering engine. Now, Netscape
occasionally branches off of Mozilla, makes a few changes, adds Netscape
stuff, and releases it as a Netscape product. The current version of
Netscape, 6.1, is based on Mozilla .9.2 with Mozilla.9.3 being the newest
milestone build. I personally recommend not using any of Netscape's newer
browsers because by the time they come out, new bug fixes and/or features
have already been added to the Mozilla it was taken from.

On another note, RedHat has said that once Mozilla reaches version 1.0,
they will stop including the old Netscape in favor of Mozilla.
