[ale] screenshots

I use 'Gimp', From the menu:

File --> Acquire --> Screenshot (but this used to be somewhere else. 
I'm usnig version 1.2 under RedHat 7.1)

The nice thing about it is that you can save in any format.  The bad 
thing is that it can be a complicated program to use.
