Subject: [ale] "mkfile" ?

I'm looking at making a file, 256Meg or the like to turn into swap space
on an existing system.  On my suns I can' just do a:

mkfile 256M SwapFile_01

Can Linux currently use a file on the root partition as swap space?  Is
there an equiv to mkswap?

:wq!
