[ale] Gimp question

Just wanted to pass on thanks to Stephan Uphoff for the command line
control of ghostscript.  A little fiddling with that I was able to do
what I discovered I really needed to do!  This time I really didn't
understand what I needed to do to get what the job required!

I am creating images on an SGI in Showcase (a GIMP like package but a
little different) which prints output in Postscript.  I needed to create
a GIF image from the Postscript output which had anti-aliasing since it
is going to a publisher.  We aren't sure of the publisher's capability
so wanted to give them Postscript and GIFs of the output.  The
anti-aliased output is head and shoulders above taking a snapshot of the
screen so a big thanks for the help on this.  We will use this technique
for everything now.  I will work eventually on creating a "printer" that
is the "image creation" device and incorporating it into the print
system on the SGIs here.  Ghostscript is part of the SGI Freeware so no
need to compile it and it is preconfigured.
