Have you tried adding swap space? It looks like ipop3d wants more
memory but can't get it. You show 64MB RAM + 110MB of swap = 174MB
of virtual memory. (You didn't show much of this was used/free.)
I don't know how ipop3d works, but it looks like it may be trying to
buffer the entire mailbox (or at least one very large message) into
memory for processing.

Subject: [ale] email server crashes
I have a RedHat 7.0 box acting as a gateway/firewall to a DSL
connection, and it is an email server. For now, ignore the qmail/etc.
suggestions, I need to get this fixed for my client. I have several
boxes just like it and don't have any problems with the others.
Problem: One of the users receives messages with large attachments. Once
her /var/spool/mail/<username> file gets over, say, 100mg, she can no
longer send/receive any email. The log file is filled with these
messages:
Apr 26 15:29:53 mail ipop3d[3642]: Can't resize memory
Apr 26 15:29:53 mail ipop3d[3642]: IMAP toolkit crash: Can't resize
