[ale] Debian distribution

while we are still on Debian, let me ask something here. I have a toshiba
T4700CS which I want to convert from DOS to Debian. I need base only. the
notebook doesnot have a NIC, but has serial/kermit. I've tranfered
base2_2.tgz to it through kermit. I wonder if I can use this base2_2.tgz
for a base install or I have to get all 10 base images like I did with
Debian 1.3 :-)
