[ale] queued messages?

Here is what I would do in this situation... vi the file and add some
bytes, then delete/move it. I have no idea why you wound up with that
file there, it looks nothing like a sendmail lock file. Anyway remove
it and see if sendmail will restart.
On another note... Please tell us that you don't have two other
computers named beaver and eddie. :)
