[ale] Perl Script

Hi everybody!

I just started using Linux (6 months to be exact) and I was asked to create 
a Perl script that would register the 1st login and last logout session for 
each employee. I purchased "Learn Perl in 21 days" but it seems to me I'll 
need better help since I have a deadline to meet and the information on the 
book is somewhat limited.
Can anybody help ?
