did you try
ipchains -L -n -v
the "-v" option gives you MUCH more information...
(the eighth field is "ifname")

Subject: [ale] ipchains -L
I'm trying to review my chains to insure I've got them set up right.
ipchains -L seems to be pretty useless since it doesn't list the
interface the chain is associated with (at least I've not been
successful in making it do so). Anyone know how I might list chains by
interface or at least get a tool that shows this? I've looked in /proc
and found net/ip_fwchains, but that appears to be only forwarded info
and it's pretty cryptic.
Anyone else have a easy way of reviewing chains?
