If you are going to run NT4 or Win2K, I would recommend having 256M RAM on
your box and giving VMWare 128M.  I use to do something similar at my last
job.  With less than about 128M, NT4 under VMWare just gets slow.

As far as apps go, for the most part, games will not run.  If all you are
running is office productivity apps, you will have no problem running
those applications.
