Hi,

I am trying to fix a file that was uploaded in binary mode with sed. I
can't seem to get rid of that stupid ^M after every line. Anyone know
how to do this? I figured it out in PERL once but I don't have perl on
this machine.
 I tried sed s/^M// <file1 >file2 but that doesn't work I think that they
are some strange character or somehting...Any suggestions?ym

Thanks
Ken
