[ale] What can one do with 'xwrappers' in RH6.2?

I just installed RH6.2 and am finishing the XFree setup. 
RH6.2 installs 'xwrappers' (if I remember the name 
properly) where I expect the chip-specific X server.

What does this program do, and how can I find what 
controls it might respond to?

In a previous RH6.2 installation, I just brute-force 
dumped 'xwrappers' and soft-linked my chip's X server 
instead, but if it is a feature [;^) I would rather know 
how to use it.

Also, please excuse me (but tell me) if this and my 
preceeding post came out in or with HTML - I'm sending 
them from a web tool.
