I'm not sure about that but wanted everyone to know that I know of a way to use
RedHat 6.2 to control an etch-a-sketch!!!
I am using a 29 pin DCE cable (stands for Doesn't Care Either) with custom
built software utilyzing the newest 32 bit graphics. Completely customizable for
left, right, vertical or horizontal movements. These can even be combined for
diagonal movements. These movements are not controlled by the normal mouse as
one might expect, Ohh No!! We designed a grid systems with 1,024,000,000,000
possible fields. These are entered by using the standard 10 digit numererical
pad. Yes thats right!! You now hove complete control over that etch-a-sketch!!
Now you can creat the perfect tic-tac-toe board!!! Perfect right down to the
last megapixel. No more undefined lines, wandering aimlessly from one point to
the next. I can supply all of this for the low low cost of $99,999.99
(etch-a-sketch not included) Just call 1-800-not-aclu, or visit us on the web at

Sorry guys, could not resist. Just been one of those days I guess

Chris' message reminded my of something I was planning to post. I have
three 'headless' machines and currently run cables to them to access the
console. Is it possible to use the serial console facility in the
kernel, connect that serial port to another serial port on another Linux
box and have the console come up as an xterm?

I know there are issues of keyboard, mouse and stuff, but I'm wondering
if anyone's heard of any software that can emulate a serial terminal in
an xterm.
