[ale] DreamWeaver Clone?

dreamweaver is popular enough that any program that does what it does will
bill itself as a dreamweaver clone.

it is a DOM1 XML based authoring tool with both graphical and color coded
views. it doesn't mess with your code. you can write new commands and
extensions in javascript. it provides a good tight cross platform api for
DHTML, as well as a timeline based interface for animation. your best bet
is to ask linux web developers if there is a dreamweaver type tool that
features raw speed of development through a graphical interface that also
has a text interface and doesn't mess with your code out there and ignore
the egotistical jackasses who say the only way to code is in vi. i can
develop web applications WAY faster than any emacs afficionado.

I got this from a developer I know. Is there a Dreamweaver clone out
or something with very similar functionality?
