[ale] OT: DSL with Telocity

I have heard a lot of good things about Telocity.  I ordered it 117 days
ago and still haven't been able to connect.  I am canclling on Friday if
it isn't up, and ordering Road Runner instead.  It's too bad, really,
because of the linux-friendly nature of Telocity, and the static IP, but I
had to draw the line when I found that their home wiring department had
been sitting on my case for 3 weeks.

117 days is too long to wait for Telocity and Verizon to hook up my DSL.
