I was at the Hardware Forum at Linux General Store last night.  They are open
for business as usual.  It seems BellSouth has been messing with their phones
yesterday and disconnected them instead of transferring to more lines.

BTW,

If you ever really get stumped on a problem, this is the place to go for help.
The Hardware Forum got my machine up and running last night.
