Hello -

Last time I extracted contact information with 'whois', I recall getting a
useful pointer from 'arinc' as to which server could help with IPs in
other countries. Interrogating that server indeed gave me the operator
info. This evening I don't get any such reference. Could anyone suggest
other whois servers with added geographical or category coverage than ARIN
as in:

$ whois 209.1.224.17 at whois.arin.net
 (this one, California based, comes up in detail)

$ whois 208.178.29.46 at whois.arin.net
 (this one does not)
