A quick reminder that our little shindig is on for tomorrow. And as if
brisket and chicken weren't reason enough, we've got some fun things lined
up. We'll have CD-ROM burning stations so you can press yourself a copy
of various free OSes. We're going to raffle off a bunch of great prizes,
including a Diamond Rio MP3 player, a handheld cellular phone, and --
best of all -- a 25MHz SPARC IPX pre-loaded with RedHat 6.2 (woo woo!!).
Our nerd barbeque is sponsored by Covad Communications. We're looking for
a couple of good Unix/Linux/Internet developers for our Austin office.
(In addition, Covad Corp. is looking for lots more good folks to do
everything from ATM networks to IP routing to Solaris administration.
Both here and Santa Clara.) So, if you'd like, please bring by a resume.
If you do, we'll give you a couple of extra tickets for the raffle.
