[ale] Modem Question

Ok I show my ignorance on this.
 
I have a Linux box at home that I use as a print/file server.  Nothing
special about - using RH5.2.  
 
Here is my question:
 
Is it possible to set the modem up on the Linux box so that I can use that
modem from another PC that is using Windows?
 
If so, where would I start to find information on how to do this?  I have
looked over HOW-TOs, but didn't really find anything on this subject. 
Although, not finding anything is not new to me.  I probably looked right at
it but didn't see it.
