[ale] RE. Oracle 8.1.6

Yes you are right , it doesnt work with RH7. It installs , but doesnt seem
to want to create an instance. I think the main reason is that RH7 changed
the libc.a files . 
Other than that no major issues. I switched to SUSE 7 and have oracle 8i
running on it fine. But then again , I guess someone has to take a lead in
making changes and redhat is doing that . we will see if it is a good one
or not
