[ale] Mindspring/Earthlink DSL and linux ?

Anyone using the roaring penguin pppoe stuff w/ a dev kernel?
2.4-test5.0 in particular.

I'm trying to get the pieces together for the install, as I've 
ordered this service, and self-install kit.
