[ale] large HD redux

well, i decided that i needed a new computer anyway, so i bought a new
motherboard and chip, *good* ones this time. (Asus K7V and a 700mhz Athlon
with 128MB of RAM). I then discovered that the new motherboard wouldn't
fit into my old case, so I got a new one of those too. it's a tower case
from CompUSA. pretty cool actually. the motherboard is mounted on it's own
panel so you can slide it out of the case quickly when you need to work on
it. so now i've practically upgraded the whole machine, (if i get a new
video card i'll just about be there. :)

so now i need to upgrade the kernel to recognize the full 60GB. any
recommendations?

i'm using the Cartman release of redhat with a stock kernel. i'd rather
not upgrade the whole OS (just 'cause that'll take time and i'd have to
wait until this weekend), so what kernel would be recommended?

thanks,
 - joshy
