[ale] Need a laptop recommendation.

GIM computers sells the mitac 6133 laptop.  After an update to the bios I have been running linux on it for about 2 months.
GIMcomputers is located here in Atlanta.  The one problem I have with it is that I have been unable to get sound working on it fully.
This is because it needs the Alsa package  and it hasn't really been a priority for me.  When the 2.4 kernel comes out which form what
I hear will include alsa it should work fine.  The mitac 6133 is also sold as a Fujitsu LiteLine C400DVD

It runs a little warm as well.  but at least it keeps your knees warm on those cool Atlanta nights.
