[ale] distributed.net's rc5des client slow under anything

Thanks Ben!  That is exactly what I was looking for.  Just a quick 
question.  I am trying to understand how some things work.  You said that 
this would be run as root.  Is that because it is run at startup run level? 
Just curious.
