[ale] make menuconfig can't find curse.h

Anyone know what rpm package contains this?  I've copied the
/usr/src/linux-2.2.12-20 directory into /usr/src/linux-2.2.12-smn and
compiled a kernel last night using xconfig.  And xconfig won't work now
either.

Clues?
