I am running 2.2.12 from redhat 6.1 However whenever I do a ./configure for my alsa drivers it generates a Makefile for the 2.2.11 kernel. thus installing the modules in the /lib/modules/2.2.11 directory. Where do configure scripts get the kernel version from. Does anyone have a suggestion. thanks.
