By coincidence, we were discussing this on the way home from the Linux Expo.
We will be making ALE tshirts in the near future, which will be available
for sale at the ALE meetings (ie NO MAILORDER!) when they are done.
The current idea is to have a timeline on the back of the shirt with the
milestone kernel release dates, and ALE events. A clever slogan on the
back will say something like "Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts - part of the
GNU south since 1995" (this is not set in stone yet).
We're still looking for good ideas for the new ALE logo. We would like
to keep the round lettering and size of the ALS logo, but we need
something to go inside the round letters that is reasonable small and
simple. Tux overlooking the Atlanta skyline, maybe?
If you have some ideas for the ALE shirt, please send them *to me*
directly, I'll be working on the shirts in my Copius Free Time.
