[ale] bug? groupadd refuses to return when run by ordinary user

hi, y'all,

(session log appended)
when I try to run groupadd as an ordinary user, it will just stay there in
the process table without return any error code or my dear command prompt.
This is true for both RH5.2 with 2.2.3 kernel and stock RH6.0. Caldera
1.2's will come right back telling you that you don't have that privilege!

small bug?
