All this talk about too large a virtual screen has me
puzzled. I am running RedHat 5.1 and have the FVWM95 window
manager running. One of the pluses about this is that there
is a small utility in the lower right hand corner of the
screen that divides up the virtual screen into eight actual
screen views. It shows miniature windows with labels of the
programs running in each window. I find it very useful
since I just have to click on the representation of the
actual screen I want, and bam, there I am in that screen.
Has RedHat dropped this out of 6.0?
What is that little program anyway? A function of FVWM95?
I really enjoy having Applixware, Netscape, a set of shells,
and FileRunner all in separate screens and accessible with
the touch of a button.
