[ale] Ga Tech's FTP server status

Thanks to all who made the correct call on this. After forwarding some of
the helpful suggestions here (and a little haggling on my part), my ISP's
tech support saw fit to add my IP into the DNS tables. I'm now able to log
into the Ga Tech ftp server...
