[ale] Anyone other than Bellsouth doing ADSL in Atlanta?

After pounding my head against MediaOne's customer-no-service brick wall
for a week, and finding out that Bellsouth is Linux-hostile, I was wondering,
is anyone else doing ADSL (or any other cheap-fast data form) around here?
I'd love to give these jokers the heave ho, but even if Ma Belle weren't 
so anal about OS'es, their install cost is prohibitive.
