[ale] VNC (Was: Java on VNC display)

~/.Xresources is the X resource database. You can use it
to configure characteristics of the window system (i.e.
"please put blue borders on all windows, except put
pink borders on Xterm windows"... that kind of stuff).
I think if you just create an empty /root/.Xresources
file that error should go away. But it looks as if the
server is actually running, anyway - if it weren't
you'd get a "fatal error" in there somewhere.
What happens when you try to point a vncviewer at it?
