	Unless you've got a really old kernel (which you don't), or just want to
be on the absolute most cutting edge of drivers,my suggestion would  be to use
the PPP support which is in the kernel. Basically, the only cases where I've
ever needed to patch the kernel with "external" drivers was in cases like Ftape
where the kernel's version didn't do what I needed, and the newer versions were
pretty much "works in progress" of a re-write of the kernel version.
	Thus, as a basic rule of thumb, always try the drivers in the kernel
first. If problems persist (and it's because of the kernel drivers), then use
external modules or such.
