Here's the situation:
    I'm trying to remotely capture information that is printed to the =
screen using Perl (5.004_04 on RedHat 5.2).  I need to do this for a =
period of time until a stop signal is generated.  I've tried opening a =
terminal as a file and reading from it but this seems to result in =
intermittent results.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
