Part-time Student Help for Open Source Projects

Network Solution's (www.netsol.com) R&D department is looking for 
part-time and/or full-time developers to help out with several 
projects. These projects include client/server directory services 
applications in both the Unix and Windows environments. These include 
enhancements to both Mozilla and Internet Explorer. Periodic 
attendance at conferences and training sessions may also be required 
but these can be made to work around academic schedules. The two 
available positions are geared toward each of the 
two prominent platforms:

Win32 Developer

This position requires working knowledge of Windows development. 
Specific knowledge areas include VC++, COM, the Win32 GUI threading 
models, and Internet programming in general. The ideal candidate 
will have some working knowledge of Internet Explorer internals, 
specifically asynchronous pluggable protocols. A working knowledge 
of UNIX and the ability to aid in UNIX development projects is also a 
plus. Good communications skills, including the ability to read, 
interpret and aid in the writing of published standards documents, 
are also a requirement.

UNIX Developer

This position requires a working knowledge of Internet based 
client/server C, C++ and Java programming in the Unix environment. 
The ideal candidate will have some working knowledge of Mozilla and 
with working with cross platform, open source projects in general. 
Good communications skills, including the ability to read, interpret 
and aid in the writing of published standards documents, are also 
a requirement.
